I am a new, AA DM-20 user looking to get the most quality out of my mic any tips and tricks. Right now I am now using a Focusrite 2I2. So far I am happy with everything. :D :D :D

Hello, thanks for purchasing the DM-20. The DM20 is pretty much "bulletproof" and will work well with the Focurite 212.

The DM20 has two HP filter switches at the bottom of the microphone.

The far left position will roll off frequencies in the rumble/flutter area caused by air conditioner or outside traffic rumble.

The middle position will roll out frequencies in the low end of the voice. If the proximity effect (bass increase when you move in on the microphone) it too much then the middle position will decrease this effect.

If the microphone is a little bright then you can engage the third position which is a LP filter but the brighter setting (flat) is probably necessary for clarity in broadcasting most voice talent.

Cheers, Dave
